The Nashville Hornets are you Class 2A Boys' Basketball State Champions. Nashville beat Monticello 32-31 in just 32 minutes! In the semi-final game in double overtime the Hornets beat Chicago DePaul College Prep 31-24. In the super-sectional game Nashville beat the Wooden Shoes of Teutopolis 44-18. In Sectional play the Hornets be Central Cougars 47-45 OT,
Murphysboro Red Devils 33-30. Regionals Pinckneyville Panthers 51-42 OT, and Red Bud 64-33. What a season it has been for this team and coaches!
