The school nurse is Mrs. Melissa Harriss. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a School Nurse Certification, and a Professional Educator’s License. In addition to her responsibilities in the nurse’s office, she teaches Medical Terminology and the Nursing Assistant course.
Mrs. Harriss provides care for students with medical needs, conducts vision and hearing screenings, administers medications, and ensures students are compliant with required physicals and immunizations.

All 9th grade students (or newly enrolled students) must have:
- An IDPH physical with required immunizations
- Proof of Dental Screening Form
All 12th grade students must have:
- Proof of meningitis vaccine
